Edinburg Center Holds Transition Ceremony

Edinburg, TX – The Edinburg Center held a transition program and Ceremony for all children transitioning to Public School. The ceremony is held for the children who are transitioning from Head Start to kindergarten. Nineteen children will be transitioning to different elementary schools in the Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District.

Ms. Lupita Villa (Child Development Advocate) spoke at the ceremony encouraging parents to guide and help their children to pursue their dreams by giving them the education they need because they are our future.

The ceremony was held at the Edinburg TMC center. The children provided live entertainment while the parents & staff worked together to make it a very successful evening. The staff ended the event by thanking the parents for allowing them to prepare their children for the next part of their education adventure - elementary school.
